Boleyn badges website
|
Hi everyone, as I always say, I know this will not interest most so close it now lol. Just wanted to say the last few months I have been very busy rescanning all the world football club crests more so the English badges have been recropped and the brightness and contrast has been bought well down I think you will agree the outcome is really really good, I am so pleased with it
As you all know sadly I can not go to football anymore so this is a real treat for me collecting these. If you have a spare few minutes I would truly appreciate it if you would have a look, more so the English badges. If you like it any messages are very welcome in the guest book. Once again thank you for your time. Steve

Great stuff.
It amuses me that on German public transport timetables the crossed hammers mean workday.

Serbian Hammer...I remember that thread, it was the most posted one on here until the EU one going on now.
Found out the name of the crossed hammers team where the place doesn't even exist anymore - TJ DPG Banik Hrdlovka, Czech Republic

I have known Steve many years. He first started out on this site many many years a message to bosnian hammer for those who might remeber it. The guy is a top bloke and will do anything for a fellow hammer. He is well known on KUMB and Hammers chat. If you have any badges you do not want I am sure he will be plesased to have them.

Steve, I got one in the end....took years to find one and then (like busses) found another one soon after.
They are on their way back in the leagues now....third tier, think they went from the top division down to fifth tier local amateur, but now back up to 3rd. I go on holiday to Istanbul quite often and the last couple times I've went I've missed them playing one of the 3rd division Istanbul teams by a few days...will watch them play one day at an away game.
Love the collection I put together mate, but yours is on another level and seriously tip my hat.

Re: Boleyn badges website

Hello Steve, I remember years back I sent you a whomail about your collection, asked about a couple badges in particular and then out of the blue you sent me quite a few badges asking for nothing in return...was really appreciated.
Set me off on my own quest to try to do something similar but my own collection isn't even a tenth of what you have put together.
I love the history of some of the clubs though...there is one (can't remember off hand) where the whole town has been flattened, so the place doesn't exist anymore let alone the club.
Have called it quits with my own collection now, favourite was trying to get a Zonguldakspor badge...ended up in their local paper!
